Band of brothers golf outing

On May 18, 2023, a group of Army veterans and friends (“the Misfits”) hosted residents and staff from the Armed Forces Retirement Home-Washington (“Ward Echo”) for a band of brothers golf outing at Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, Va. The Misfits took care of everything from transporting Ward Echo players to and from the course, to the rounds of golf and carts, to cold beers and cigars, to lunch on the club’s terrace AND made a $1,500 gift to the Old Soldiers Home Foundation. Thanks to everyone who participated in this fun event, and Ward Echo is looking forward to hosting the Misfits for a rematch at AFRH very soon.
